Smart home account linking information
When you link your account to a supported smart home or voice assistant service, we may collect and process:

- the fact that your Poolpower account is linked to a supported third-party service
We do not receive or store full audio recordings of your voice requests from third-party voice assistant providers unless separately provided to us through those providers’ developer systems or logs.

- link your Poolpower account with supported smart home and voice assistant services
- send commands to your Poolpower products
- retrieve status and telemetry from your Poolpower products

- monitor misuse, abuse, and unauthorised access
- comply with legal obligations
3. How smart home integration data is used
If you use a Pool Lab smart home integration, we use account-linking and token-based authentication to confirm your identity and determine which Poolpower account and device or devices you are authorised to access.
When you issue a supported command through a linked service, we may:
- validate your linked account
- identify your authorised Poolpower account
- send the requested command to your Poolpower product
- read current device status in order to respond to your request
4. How we store and protect information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
This may include:
- encrypted HTTPS connections
- account authentication controls
- restricted administrative access
- token-based account linking
- logging and monitoring of security-related events
No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
5. Disclosure of information
We may disclose information:
- to service providers who help us operate our services
- to cloud hosting, authentication, and infrastructure providers

- to protect our rights, systems, users, or services

- maintain account linking and device functionality
- comply with legal obligations

- detect and prevent misuse
Temporary authentication and authorisation records may be deleted automatically after expiry.
8. Your choices
You may be able to:
- unlink your smart home or voice assistant account from Poolpower services
- stop using the Poolpower app or services
- contact us to request account-related assistance
If you unlink a connected third-party service, that service will no longer be able to control your Poolpower product through your linked Poolpower account.
9. Access and correction
You may contact us to request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law.
10. Children
Poolpower services are not intended for children to use without permission and supervision from a parent or guardian where required.
11. Changes to this policy
